Fascinating, Blurry Times
No one predicted the living tech boom.
Or that there would even be one.
In fact, no one really remembers it—
except the historians.
Especially the government-funded ones.
Religions and conspiracy theorists foretold of such changes.
Religion (pick one) spent centuries barking global upheaval before it got it right.
Sort of.
The theorists, in their dank, monitor-lit bedrooms, unraveled it too—
with the accuracy of a drunken dart game while masturbating.
The problem?
Financial. Isn’t it always?
Debasement. Labor shortages.
Delayed promises of a future that never arrived.
Just remember to vote for the right party—
especially when it’s the other one.
Then it happened.
Collective, little moments that felt like a massive one.
Many say it came out of nowhere.
It was always there.
People will always die.
And yet it continues to shock when they do.
It’s the one thing you can rely on.
The supply mechanics were finally in place.
Reconstruction.
Proper operating power.
Smile. The lights are still on.
